Final Fantasy XVI is a dark fantasy action-RPG set in Valisthea, a world divided by nations powered by magical Crystals and "Dominants," humans who host massive creatures called Eikons. The story follows Clive Rosfield, a soldier seeking revenge against the "Dark Eikon" Ifrit for his brother's death, while uncovering a deeper plot involving a world-consuming magical blight and a divine entity named Ultima.
