Fallout 76 is a 2018 action-RPG and prequel to the series, set in 2102 (25 years after the Great War) within Appalachia. Players emerge from Vault 76 on Reclamation Day to rebuild, but must follow the Overseer's trail to combat the Scorched Plague, a threat killing survivors, while exploring a mutated, post-nuclear West Virginia.
